New York City composer and clarinetist David T. Bridges’ music is driven by motivic transformations and unifies extended techniques with classic and narrative structures to provoke a visceral response.
Bridges was featured by the Reciprocity Collaborative, Red Note, Hot Air, and Composers Now Festivals. His string quartet This Fragmented Old Man is being released by Navona this summer.
His career includes teaching at Brooklyn College, designing a middle school composition series, conducting, and performing.
